Have you updated your labor law postings to comply with the State of Nevada’s recent 2018 Annual Bulletins? It is required that all employers post information about a variety of requirements in a conspicuous location in each workplace. On April 1, 2018, the State of Nevada published two updates that require posting. Find links to both Bulletins below – go to the link and print the bulletin to post in your workplace.
- Daily Overtime 2018 Annual Bulletin – Effective July 1, 2018. “Employers must pay 1-1/2 times an employee’s regular wage rate whenever an employee who is paid less than 1-1/2 times the applicable minimum wage rate works more than 40 hours in any workweek or more than 8 hours in any workday, unless otherwise exempted.”
Additional requirements can be found in the State of Nevada’s Daily Overtime 2018 Bulletin.
- Minimum Wage 2018 Annual Bulletin – Effective July 1, 2018. “Pursuant to Article 15, Section 16(A) of the Constitution of the State of Nevada, the Governor hereby announces that the following minimum wage rates shall apply to all employees in the State of Nevada unless otherwise exempted.”
